Being peaceful and centered need not be the same thing. Asha and I share tips on how we are dealing with shelter-in-place for our county. We know this is not an easy time for anyone. We are doing our best to stay centered and peaceful and trust that our practice at this time connects to you in some way. Please share your thoughts and comments below.

Thank you for these peaceful important messages
So heart warming seeing your loving togetherness and hearing your special thoughts!
Will add Asha”s suggestion to keep smiling to others; and definently be more focussed during lemon squeezing from Rusill, to my to do list ππ»
Thank you, Maria for your kind words. Be safe and healthy.
So beautiful and simple. Thank you. β€οΈ
Thank you Debbie. Be safe and healthy
Asha & Russell: Your gentleness and presence shines forth through this video – the blessings of your long held practices are the greatest gift here. ( The good advice is valuable, too, of course!)
Thank you Amy for your kind words. Be safe and healthy.
Thank you for suggestion of practicing warmth and kindness. And the reminder of contributing right energy into the collective field. I am feeling so much powerful energy of prayers and intentions being sent into the massive Energetic Field.
You are welcome, Rebecca. Be safe and healthy.
Thank you, Russill and Asha, for your support during our “exam time” for our practice! As Asha says, it’s easy to do the work when we’re not in chaos but so important and powerful when we are. Deeply grateful for both of you and for the community of souls you have gathered through the years that has traveled to Shantivanam. I consider my time at the ashram one of my life’s great blessings.
Peace.
Anne Ondrey
You are welcome, Anne. We are deeply grateful for you, too. Our spiritual community has now expanded to include groups from many parts of the world I have been traveling to, communities that have been growing around what we offer (live as well as online) and this has resulted in a wonderful mix of people of various interest and cultures especially since we connect often online through our programs and trainings. The ashram continues to remain dear to us as our spiritual home. Peace to you as well.
I too have taken comfort from cooking and interacting with my plants. Another thing I enjoy is sprouting beans and seeds. It is life affirming as well as nutrious. We need to be especially grateful to the farmers who provide us with such abundance and everyone needs to learn to cook and to grow food. Even if it is only a pot of basil on your window sill, if only as an exercise to appreciate the work it takes to feed us. What to buy at the grocery store? Hereβs a rule I try to follow…..only buy things with one ingredient haha! Whole foods. Sending love and light from our precious island in eastern Canada.
Good to hear from you, Teresa. Thank you for sharing. Be safe and healthy.
So good to see both of you. I had been wondering how you were doing. I am happy to say that I see the light here and now! This is a pressure cooker of transformation. What a delicious meal we will all share when the cooking is done! Namaste and love always.
Thank you Laura. Be safe and healthy.
thank you wonderfull people for your kind and loving words. I realize that i am being centered but not entirely peaceful. Bringing my consciousness to my heart helps. Thank you and have a nice day
You are welcome Saskia! OM
Love the message, thank you for giving the simple message of peace and how it can be so meaningful at a time like now. The peace of mind, peace of your surroundings, peace in centering yourself, peace in letting go, peace of a smile to yourself and others you see. Peace is so powerful.
Peace, freedom from disturbance; tranquility.
Thank you,
Thanks Mike. Always good to hear from you! OM
