Five things we are practicing at this time to stay centered

Dear Asha, dear Russill
Thank you so much. Yeah, for me it is a time of fear, old trickers. But I chant every day the Vakra tunda, I buy as much beautiful flowers as possible to put in my house, and this evening at 8 oclok there was such a big applaus in the Netherlands (people hanging out of their windows, staying on their balconye) for all nurses and doctors in hospitals and more. For me your talking is a positive part of my evening, feel supported.Blessings for you and all the best, by heart Marie-Anne
Thank you Marie-Anne. That’s beautiful, the Dutch breaking out in song from their balconies, much like Italy in the past week. Thinking and praying for everyone at the Center for Tantra at this time. Be safe and healthy.
I am Sara and I live in Italy, precisely in Milan.
I am so much grateful of having bumped into your website a month before my country and especially the city I reside in have been hitted so badly by Covid19.
Your “The Yoga of Sound” video lessons and the book are greatly supporting me in staying focused and centered.
I have just started my Mantra practice and I truly believe this is a blessing for me.
Thank you from my heart.
May the power of our Mantras, Prayers and Positive Thinking help all of us to go through this challenging and dark time.
May this difficult moment be an opportunity to stop, meditate, breath, rethink our lifestyle, grow and blossom in something better and new.
Thank you so much Sara. Been meaning to reach out to you to ask how you are doing in all of this. Glad to hear from you. We are holding Italy very much in our hearts every single day. Several of our neighbors are from Italy, so they have the Italian flag draped outside their home which reminds us to remember Italy in prayer constantly. My wife and I absolutely love your country. It is our top favorite to travel to. So glad to hear that the Yoga of Sound is helping you at this time. Be safe and healthy.
Thank you Asha and Russill for such important reminders for all of us.
It was especially good for me to see how you remind each other when you see the other needing a positive reminder.
I feel that we are all a big conscious and heartfelt sangha. We need each other more than ever now to keep our focus on the Truth.
In Gratitude and Light,
Gail Vinson
Namaste, y’all! Good to see both of your faces and thanks for posting this. I personally find it amusing that we have the EXACT same sources of media connection. The liberal, hippie vibe? Anyway, self-isolating here with my husband and getting around to many of the self-care things, that are so important. I looked at Mantra mastery course and found myself with questions about how that course would look. Is it all group stuff online? Is material emailed and each student is checked on their progress periodically? How does it work when folks have particular difficulty with one portion or aspect of the course, if it’s primarily group work? I saw how you handled that in real time at Shantivanam (pretty skillfully, I might add) but am wondering how that looks online. Peace out to you.
Awesome to hear from you Kathryn. Glad you and your husband are doing well. Will answer your questions you about the Mastery of Mantra soon 🙂 Be safe and healthy.
My beloved friends and teachers, thank you for this wonderful positive thing.
So often I find myself wishing that everything would just stop so that I could listen to the silence, so that I could notice nature, so that I could be more aware of the Divine. This morning, as I was meditating, it came to me that everything here in Chicago has pretty much just stopped. Taking nothing away from the seriousness of a world-wide pandemic, there is a peace in letting go of that which I cannot control and a kind of calm in taking the small measures that I can.
Hello Asha and Russill!
I’m so thankful for our time in India! I’m using all the precious tools I learned to keep fear at bay…it can be quite overwhelming if you let it. Good to see y’all and I hope you are well! Namaste
Thank you so much Asha and Russill. These are indeed unprecedented times. So very grateful for your beautiful message. May you be well and safe. Much love.
Thanks for sharing your light & love. And for sharing good, practical advice on maintaining our health & well-being….including the reminder that humor is healing!
Blessings,
Dee
I am feeling safe and supported by your teachings, at home in my Guha.
I agree in taking the positive outlook. I even had a moment today when I thanked this teeny weeny little virus for all it is teaching me. In spite of the hardship and distress for so many, we are being given the opportunity for a true global renaissance. Love is the only way.
Thank you for anchoring our hearts in your love and wisdom. You offer us ballast in this storm. You help us see we can all step out on our “balconies” and not retreat to our basements of fear. Thank you for your example of positive “breath-enhancing” practices. We are our own respirators.
Thank you, Helen. You written this so beautifully! We’ve been thinking about you and praying for you. Glad to hear that you are well. Be safe and take good care of yourself. Will check on you soon …
Living our best lives today, I love this! I have been doing mantra everyday and count my blessings as there are so many. I do believe his is a time to take care, rest and let go. Namaste 🙏
Much love and blessings to you both 💕
Padma
Good to hear from you Padma. Thank you. Do continue your mantra practice. If may be interested in taking a look at our Mastery of Mantra trainings that are just starting. (russillpaul.us/mastery-of-mantra) Be safe and healthy.
Thanks for this supporting message. It confirms my thoughts about how to stay ‘sane’.
I do feel the pull from the past and in the meantime I can let it be. Thanks for sharpening my awareness of this.
I feel this Virus brings also something good: Realising we are all vulnerable and connected. It humbles me (and hopefully more people). I sense more sensitivity and awareness around me. I feel blessed to voluntarily be able to help the Dutch Red Cross. Giving people a space for their fear, answering their questions about Covid-19.
Hopefully we’ll meet each other soon, live in Amsterdam. But time will tell.
Love, Ine
Thank you, Ine, for your kind words. You are our heroine! Helping the Dutch Red Cross at this critical time. We bow to your service. Please take good care of yourself, as well.
