Mantra is speech. More importantly, it is “sacred speech”.
Speech is the way we communicate with ourselves, others,
and the way that we communicate with the universe.
To awaken is to be aware that we are communicating all the time.
Sometimes we are conscious of it; most often, we are not.
The more articulate, and conscious, our communication,
the more precise the results we receive in our lives.
This principle works across the board:
with ourselves, others, and the universe.
One of the keys to effective communication is clarity of speech.
Our speech needs to be articulate; the sounds well-formed.
If we are not articulate, the other person will not understand.
When we are not articulate, our perception remains clouded.
To be articulate, we enunciate clearly, and cogently.
We avoid slurring, and we avoid mispronunciation.
Imagine bringing this into your practice of mantra.
Imagine the results in your everyday life, as well.
When your everyday speech starts to improve, your career progresses.
When your communication improves, your relationships improve.
Test it out in your life. Keep a diary. Cross check it with a friend.
Any self-help or personal growth program will say exactly this:
to be successful, you must learn to use your voice effectively.
On the one hand, spiritual practice is about silence.
On the other hand, it is about communication.
Mantras are not just esoteric sounds that mean strange things.
Mantras are words endowed with meaning and the power to affect.
The effect of mantras is enhanced when we say them with precision.
This precision also transfers to our everyday speech and thinking.
Refining our mantric speech improves our overall ability to speak better.
All European languages can relate to Sanskrit, the language of mantra.
With a mantra, we are also communicating with the universe.
And we are communicating on multiple levels of being.
And the corresponding effect from the universe is powerful.
Speech and mantra are both two-way processes.
When we speak, there is a response. Always!
The universe responds to our speech and returns something to us.
The universe, it is said, is always listening. And we speak constantly.
The universe is alive! It is conscious. It is consciousness itself.
How important, then, to communicate with it effectively.
Over the past 30 years, I have seen this effect deliver repeatedly.
From health, to transformation, to success in undertakings.
I share my methods in what we call our Mastery of Mantra™ training.
This training, students claim, helps with all forms of communication!
We can all learn to speak our thoughts and words with greater clarity.
Vedic mantras, in particular, shape the sounds of speech with precision.
If we are not speaking aloud, we are speaking in our minds all the time.
Precision refines the results we get in our lives, and in our relationships.
Mastery of Mantra also gives us greater control of our thought process.
We can learn to speak with clarity and authority within our minds, as well.
Our consciousness changes as we learn to speak with greater clarity.
When our consciousness changes, our life changes for the better.
This phenomenon can be consistently replicated with practice.
Vedic mantras are a Yoga of Sacred Speech.
Of course, there is all the spiritual value of chanting in Sanskrit,
Yet, the practical significance is immense. And not far fetched.
I have discovered this from my own experience over the years.
And students who do our Mastery of Mantra training tap into it, too.
The Mastery of Mantra teaches articulate speech through Sanskrit.
As you improve the art of sacred speech, through the use of mantra,
your communication in daily life also improves correspondingly.
And anyone, from any culture, can learn to do this effectively.

Check out the video below for the way to say it.
It is how we teach it in our Mastery of Mantra training.
We get students started on “Simple Mantras”, like this;
and then move them on to classic Vedic mantras.
And they chant it as well as they do in India.
