Namaste! In view of my upcoming visit to Portland, Maine, I recorded this audio in the car discussing the difference (or relationship) between self-care and spiritual self-care and exploring the "self" in question, when we approach this very relevant topic today:

(Heads up: Since recorded while driving, you hear the freeway, but you can imagine that you are sitting shotgun and us having this conversation which we will get into more deeply May 5 - 7.

Saturday All Day: 10:00 am to 4:30 pm (Day Workshop $200)

Yoga of Sound and The Art of Spiritual Self-Care

MORNING ON “THE ART OF SPIRITUAL SELF-CARE”: To be human is to care for others. While it is a joy to care for others, it can also take its toll on us. Often, we are unaware of the energy effects of care-giving. The Yoga of Sound is an ancient spiritual tradition with a variety of methods that can offer us an excellent tool kit of spiritual self-care techniques. In this in-depth workshop, you will learn how to address aspects of self-care that require subtle tools in which sound is the ideal medium, for it can reach from the gross deep into the subtle dimensions of our being. You do not need to be a musician or singer to benefit from this method.

AFTERNOON ON “MARRIAGE OF EAST AND WEST”: Learning to love better is easier said than done. We would like to achieve this, but we resist the growth process involved. One of the most effective ways of learning to live fuller and love better is to bring together the core spiritual teachings of the east and west. Interfaith! Or even better, inter-spiritual. The Yoga of Sound is a broad platform that includes practices from the world’s great spiritual traditions. In this afternoon session, you will learn how to embrace the fullness of sacred sound, not only for your own self-healing, but for the healing of the world through becoming a “world soul.”

masterclass

Sunday Morning: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm (Master Class $95)

Deepening Your Spiritual Self-Care Practice

Have you ever considered yourself to be a spiritual mid-wife, someone who mediates the spiritual awakening of another? Attend this Master Class to get into this dimension of spiritual awakening, the kind that also involves others. You don’t have to be an Interfaith minister to benefit from this type of spiritual teaching. In fact, you will often find yourself in situations when this method will serve you well. For example: 1) Friction with a child or parent; or 2) Working through a deep issue with your spouse, friend or lover. Wouldn’t it be powerful to tap a spiritual dimension in these situations? And what if by tapping into the spiritual dimension in such circumstances you discover that not only your own energies are spiritually transformed, but those of the other as well? This Master Class will teach you the method.

REINSTATING THE DIVINE FEMININE

LISTEN TO STREAMING AUDIO AND DOWNLOAD

Reinstating the Divine Feminine is a powerful set of live sessions that help us recognize the many ways we can cultivate "seeing", feeling, believing, and honoring the feminine, in all its forms and qualities, as a powerful and viable channel for divinity.

  • Keep in mind that the full program, Reinstating the Divine Feminine is 2.5 hours
  • It involves a significant amount of teaching, guided meditations and live music.
  • It has been edited down and beautifully laid out as a professional online program
  • Valued at $125, it is yours for free when you register for the full weekend May 5 - 7

The track above is a reverent offering of special names for the divine as a viable channel for divinity along with a potent verse from the Lalitha Sahasranama Stotram: 1001 names to the Divine Feminine, an ancient Sanskrit text that Russill Paul has ensconced in an uplifting musical arrangement performed live at Chime in Portland last year.
